🇺🇸 History is full of incredible stories - and some deserve a little more time in the spotlight!
Our friends at the Museum of Jersey City History are hosting Petticoat Patriots, a play by Jennie Contuzzi and produced by the Esperanza Theatre Company; that shines a spotlight on the often-overlooked women who helped shape the American Revolution.
Set in 1780, the play tells the story of Jane Tuers, a New Jersey woman who uncovers dangerous intelligence about Benedict Arnold's plot to betray West Point. Faced with a decision that could change the course of history, she must weigh the risks of speaking out against the consequences of staying silent.
