The Chevrolet Grand Prix presented by Lear will be downtown for it’s second year! To help rev up the excitement, the OAC is hosting a Petite Prix in front of the building for all of our younger racing fans! Bring your Power Wheels, Cozy Coupe, and trikes and do a lap on our Petite Prix mini race course. An authentic Grand Prix show car will be on site for photo opportunities along with everything you need to know about the Grand Prix. Our young racers will enjoy various activities: decorate a wooden mini-car, race a matchbox car on a track, and more!
At 11 a.m., join us for an outdoor “drive-in” movie, Disney’s “Cars.” Bring your own boxcar to sit in and enjoy the movie or make one onsite. Limited number of boxes and decorative material available. Lawn chairs and blankets are also welcome. Rev your engines – let’s get ready to celebrate the Detroit Grand Prix!
This is a free outdoor event. Regular admission fees apply for building access.
