About this Event
Encourage. Develop. Inspire.
Join us on Saturday 19th October for a free-to-attend celebration of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, inspired by Ada Lovelace Day.
Aimed at 5-17 year olds, Peterborough STEM Festival 2024 offers a number of fun and engaging activities: coding workshops, interactive science experiments, engineering and technology demonstrations, inspirational talks and presentations, all from enthusiasts and professionals working in STEM.
The event will be held on Saturday 19th October at Anglia Ruskin University Peterborough. Doors open at 11am to the general public. The event closes at 4:30pm with the last entry time being 3:30pm.
Check out our website www.peterboroughstemfestival.co.uk for the full list of all the exciting activities we've got lined up!
Quiet Hour
We are holding a Quiet Hour from 10am - 11am on the event day, where we will be making adjustments by reducing lighting and noise, so that SEND children and their families and those with additional needs feel welcome and safe whilst attending the festival.
If you have a child who would benefit from this hour, please choose early access Quiet Hour tickets at checkout. Quiet Hour ticket holders will also have access to a sensory quiet room throughout the event day from 10am - 4pm and general admission to the event throughout the day. Please note Quiet Hour tickets must be ordered before the event. There will be no additional Quiet Hour tickets available on the door.
If you would like to attend the Quiet Hour please ensure all members of your party have a Quiet Hour ticket. You do not need to order additional General Admission tickets for the event.
We would like to thank the Cambridgeshire Community Foundation and the Olive and Jesse Palmer Fund for assisting with the quiet hour and sensory quiet room. With their help, we're able to better support young people with additional needs at our events.
Talk Tickets
Make sure you subscribe to our newsletter to be the first to find out when tickets will be released. In the event of no-shows, we will also run a waiting list for each talk so please check with the talk facilitator on the day. A General Admission ticket must be held in addition to any talk tickets to gain entry.
