Peter Pan JR Brings Imagination to the Stage

(Melbourne, FL January 20, 2026) The young boy from Neverland who can fly, loves adventure, and spends his time fighting pirates, and playing games is flying into the Gleason Performing Arts Center.  Presented by the Falcon Players, Peter Pan JR opens on Saturday, February 7, 2026 and plays through Sunday, February 8 in Melbourne, Florida.

Peter Pan JR is the classic tale by Sir J.M. Barrie developed into a musical in the 1950s with the legendary Mary Martin.  Florida Prep Academy’s Falcon Players open the musical on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 7pm and a second performance on Sunday, February 8, 2026 at 2pm at Florida Tech’s Gleason Performing Arts Center.  Perfect for all ages, the show lasts 1½ hours.

In their fourth year, the Falcon Players have produced past shows of Elf, JR, Disney’s Aladdin JR and Willy Wonka JR, and non-musical pieces, like You, the Jury, You have the Right to Remain Dead, and 12 Angry Jurors. Florida Prep is a preparatory boarding academy school for 5th to 12th graders excelling in “preparing each student for life-long success and to create conscientious, dynamic global citizens and leaders,” the Academy’s mission since 1961.  

Peter Pan JR opens with a 7:00 PM performance on Saturday, February 7 and a 2:00 PM Matinee on Sunday, February 8.  General admission tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors age 60+, $10 for students (with I.D.), and $5 for children under 10 years old.  Schools and organizations of 20 or more audience members receive a special rate by contacting the director at [email protected] or calling (321) 723-3211 ext. 154.  Doors open one half hour before curtain time.  Parking is available on the Florida Tech campus, 150 W University Blvd, Melbourne, FL 32901.
