PETER JARPS AND THE ‘CHILL SWIM’ FOR BLOOD CANCER UK
Donna and Peter Jarps are Friends of Rotary Newton Aycliffe and in the past, they have always contributed to our Christmas food bank collections. Therefore, when we discovered that Peter is a long -distance swimmer and had already swum Coniston Lake, 5.25 miles end to end and Ullswater, 7.5 miles end to end, we wanted to know more. We suggested that he should nominate a charity and RNA would support him.
Known as the ‘Chill Swim’, Peter told us that he has one more lake to complete the trio and on 6th September he tackles Windermere, 11 miles. He has nominated Blood Cancer UK as his charity and below is the link to donate. Let’s all get behind Peter and support him in this amazing achievement.
