Outline: Richard Rohr, founder of the Center for Action and Contemplation, says that “the most important word in our Centre’s name is not Action nor is it Contemplation, but the word ‘AND’”.
We know that to be physically healthy we need a balance of good diet, exercise, and sleep—in the same way our spiritual health needs a balance of contemplation and action, reading and meditating on Scripture, communion with the Spirit as well as living out this faith in the world. Through scripture, songs and stories we will explore what a more integrated faith could look like in a world of extreme political polarisation today, together.
