7PM START!UPDATE: Pete Rosser, our beloved promoter, is leaving us and this will be his last gig. (Don't worry though, Paul Smith is stepping into the promoters shoes). As a last hurrah, Pete will be performing the opening set tonight with Ed Royston on tenor sax. Come along and join us to say goodbye and thank you for all the great music he has bought to the club over the last few years.
Soulful Bristol trumpeter David Mowat embarks on an exciting new musical journey with his Anglo-Italian collaboration, featuring the effortlessly eclectic electric guitarist Enrico Merlin. Mowat, known for his rich, expressive tone and deeply emotional playing, has long been a staple of the UK jazz scene, blending jazz with elements of blues, folk, and world music. His lyrical approach to the trumpet resonates with warmth and passion, making each note a statement of soulful intent. Paired with Merlin, a boundary-pushing guitarist renowned for his genre-defying versatility, this collaboration promises to be a unique fusion of styles and influences.
