BIO

Pete George is a nationally touring rock ’n’ roll comedian, actor, and musician whose high-energy performances fuse stand -up comedy with electric guitar. With more than 10,000 shows performed nationwide, Pete has built a career that bridges music, comedy, and film, while continuing to expand through live performance, screen work, and original projects. By the mid-1980s, Pete was already recognized as one of Cleveland’s top lead guitarists. He joined the alternative rock band Separate Checks, releasing original music and a music video during the MTV era. The band later helped drive a successful petition t hat brought the Rock and Roll Hall of

Fame to Cleveland. Encouraged by his sharp wit and natural onstage presence, Pete transitioned into stand -up comedy, quickly distinguishing himself with a unique blend of musicianship and humor. In his first three comedy competitions, he earned first -place finishes over more experienced comedians, establishing his signature style early. Pete expanded into acting throughout the 1990s, appearing in theater, national commercials, and feature films. His first film role was in The Shawshank Redemption , working alongside Morgan Freeman and Tim Robbins. His on -camera work continues to complement and expand his live career.

After relocating to Los Angeles in 2000, Pete began touring full -time, headlining venues including Planet Hollywood Las Vegas, the House of Blues, and the Hard Rock Casino in Cleveland. His performances are known for their energy, originality, and strong a udience connection. Beyond the stage, Pete has hosted Rock ’n’ Roll Fantasy Camp at the legendary Whisky a Go Go and appeared as the lead in an international Audi commercial campaign. Additional credits include projects for Warner Bros. and the feature film A Social Distance.
