Join us on March 17th at 2:00 PM at the Warren Heritage Society for a cozy and colorful early-spring gathering inside our historic Ivy Lodge.
As winter begins to fade, some of the year’s most delicate and determined blooms start to appear across the Shenandoah Valley. Our WHS Outreach Assistant and flower-lover extraordinaire, Kim Strader, will guide guests on a delightful journey through the early spring wildflowers found from mountain top to riverside—sharing stories, insights, and her contagious enthusiasm for the natural beauty that surrounds us.
After the talk, guests will create their own bookmarks using pressed flowers and foliage—a simple, lovely keepsake to tuck into your favorite book.
We’ll be serving tea and tea-sized treats, so feel free to don your springiest fascinator and stretch those pinkies as we gather around the table in true tea-time fashion. And since it is March 17th, don’t forget to wear a touch of green — we wouldn’t want anyone getting pinched.
