Pet parents, mark your calendars for Tuesday, June 23, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM for our Pet Safe Event! This special community event is designed to help keep your furry family members safe, healthy, and comfortable during the upcoming Fourth of July holiday.
We are in need of a few items to make this event successful. If you have these items available and would like to donate them, please bring them to the church office.
• 4 Plastic Pickle Buckets
• 20 Old Towels to Dry Pets & Wipe them down
There is also an opportunity to volunteer, and all hours served can be recorded for our Serve Summer Challenge! Contact the office or head to the newsletter to find volunteer opportunities.
Our friends from Bruce Veterinary Clinic will be on-site offering discounted services to help prepare pets for the stress and anxiety that fireworks and holiday celebrations can sometimes bring. Whether you have questions about calming strategies or want to learn about available treatment options, this is a great opportunity to get expert advice. Services Available:
• Dental cleaning- $200
• (Extractions $18/ tooth)
• Feline Spay/Neuter- $76
• Canine Spay- $135
• Canine Neuter- $115
• Add. Pain meds- $20
• Rabies 1 yr- $25
• Rabies 3yr- $52
• Distemper vaccine- $25
• Bordetella vaccine- $25
• Leptospirosis vaccine- $25
• Canine Influenza vaccine- $25
• Microchip- $45
• Heartworm Test- $25
• Dewormer- $10
• Flea/ Tick Prevention- $15
• Nail Trim- $15 & More!

Representatives from Derby Animal Control will also be available for a Q&A session, providing valuable information on pet safety, local regulations, lost pet prevention, and more.
Be sure to stop by and visit the other vendors that will be present: Operation St. Francis will have discount Nail Trims & Dog Products, and PawTree Wellness Products will be available.
And while you're there, cool off with a delicious New Orleans-style Sno Ball from Rockin Roco's, which will be on-site serving refreshing treats throughout the day.
The church will also have a self-dog wash available; donations are appreciated.
