Pet Parade & Costume Contest

This is the First Annual National Pet Day Pet Parade and Costume Contest, a co-sponsored community event hosted at the Fort Collins Winter Farmers Market at Foothills Mall (located 215 E Foothills Pkwy, Fort Collins, CO 80525) on the East Lawn. The event is designed to celebrate National Pet Day along with our small business vendors, and benefit the Larimer County Humane Society through entry fee donations.

Participants are not limited in age, but we do ask for a parent or guardian to be onsite if under 16 years of age.

Pre-Registration:

• Pre-registration fee: $10 per entry through EventBrite (or stop by the market on Saturdays between 10am and 2pm to pay with cash)
• Day-of registration fee: $15 per entry (via Venmo-@focowfm, put your name and “WFM Pet Parade” in the description or Cash)
• All proceeds donated directly to the Larimer County Humane Society
• Every registrant receives $10 in Winter Market Bucks.
• Event schedule and other logistics information will be sent after registration is paid.

Costume Contest Categories:

• Best in Parade (Overall Best Costume) — Most impressive and well-crafted costume
• Funniest Costume — Most humorous and creative outfit
• Most Original/Unique — Concept no one else thought of
• Most Creative Matching — Matching costumes with owner, siblings, or friends

Prize Package Per Winner (4 winners total):

• $75 Foothills gift card
• $50 Winter Farmers Market gift card
• Gift basket with products from a mix of market vendors.
