Losing a pet is never easy, and coping with the loss of a beloved companion can be difficult. FETCH a Cure wants pet owners in our community to have the resources they need to deal with the loss of a pet and work through the understandable grief. That’s why we hold a Pet Loss Support Group meeting twice a month for families facing the loss of a furry family member.
Meetings are led by Dr. Leslie Greenberg, an experienced psychologist and member of the Association for Pet Loss and Bereavement, as well as Dr. Melissa Miller, a Pet-Loss Grief Support Specialist and Medical Oncologist at Partner Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Center. Families are invited to attend our group sessions to help work through the pain of losing a pet. Meetings on the first Tuesday of the month will be conducted via Zoom. Meetings on the second Tuesday of the month will be in person at the FETCH a Cure office located at 5711 Staples Mill Road on the third floor. All family members, including children, are invited to attend this complimentary Pet Loss Support Group.
