This training is designed for people who care for pets as part of their work or service OUTSIDE of the veterinary clinic setting. (Pet sitters, dog walkers, groomers, trainers, boarding staff, kennel attendants, daycare staff, rescue volunteers, shelter animal handlers, transport volunteers, and other NON-clinical pet professionals.)
Students will learn how to recognize emergencies, provide immediate first aid, manage incidents professionally, communicate clearly with pet owners and veterinary staff, and safely prepare an animal for transport when needed. This class goes beyond basic owner knowledge by preparing pet care providers to respond responsibly and confidently in real-world situations.
