Do you know how to help your dog in an emergency?Learn the life saving skills needed to help your pets in an emergency with our CPR and FIRST AID training session! This class is designed for anyone with an interest in knowing what to do in an emergengy. Training is geared towards pet parents, and NO prior training/experience required.
This 2 1/2 hour, highly interactive and hands-on course will be taught by Tom Rinelli, a 35-year seasoned pre-hospital emergency medical care provider and educator.
Hands-On Skills Practice will include: emergency muzzling and restraint, vital signs assessment, CPR (canine & feline), choking management (conscious & unconscious), and bleeding control/shock management.
Lecture will include: medical emergencies (seizures, poisoning, “bloat”), environmental emergencies and pet safety & wellness.
Leave with peace of mind that you know what to do in an emergency, along with a handbook, certificate and emergency muzzle.
