One thing we've learned at Bethany: it's not really autumn until we've had the Pet Blessing. But that's not the (only) reason we're doing it a bit earlier this year, and on the equinox. Bring your furry, scaly, feathered friends to church on the lawn on Sunday, Sept 22nd. We'll bless them, rain or shine. (If it rains, we'll be in the gym.) It's also a great day to invite your animal-lover human friends!Celebrate worship with leadership from music director Yasuko Oura and soloist Keanon Kyles, and stories from Bethanians (we keep trying to make that happen) about animals who've brought a spark to their lives.
