🐾 C.A.R.E.™ and St. Peter’s United Church of Christ Host Pet Blessing
C.A.R.E. (Community Animal Rescue Effort) and St. Peter’s UCC of Skokie are hosting our 8th Annual Pet Blessing on Sunday, October 26th from 3-4pm. A brief service will be held in St. Peter’s gymnasium honoring pets and our unique relationships with them, followed by individual pet blessings by Rev. Brenda Barnes Jamieson. C.A.R.E. will be on hand with pets ready for adoption and information about their adoption facility. Suggested at-the-door donation is $5, and there will be raffle baskets with wonderful pet-inspired gifts and treats. All donations benefit C.A.R.E. and St. Peter’s.
St. Peter’s UCC is located at 8013 Laramie Avenue, Laramie & Oakton across from Village Hall. Convenient parking is available in the lot off Floral Avenue just east of the church building. For the safety of all, please ensure that your pet is on a leash or in a carrier. This event is open to the public, and all are welcome to attend, whether they bring a pet, or are ready to begin the adoption process for a furry companion!
