Pesticide Applicator Ornamental and Turf Exam Review 3/27/2025

This is a two hour long, online review session for the FDACS Ornamental and Turf pesticide licensing exam. Continuing education units (CEUs) are also available for attendance for individuals that already have obtained their pesticide applicator license. The cost for attendance is $15.

This event will be held online via Zoom*. Please be prepared to arrive at least 15 minutes early to the class. The zoom link will be sent to the email used in the event registration prior to the class. Registration for this class will close on March 26th at 4:00 pm.

This course will review the study materials for the Ornamental and Turf pesticide exam. The study materials for this exam can be purchased from the UF/IFAS Bookstore. We will go over integrated pest management, pest/pathogen identification, application methods, equipment and calibration calculations as it relates to the ornamental and turf pesticide license.

This webinar does not include the exam. To take your pesticide exams, you must sign up for an appointment to take the exam. You can register for your exams and pick an exam time here: https://pesticideexam.ifas.ufl.edu/.

If you already hold a pesticide license, you can attend this class to receive 2 CEU credits in one of the following categories:

• Ornamental and Turf (OT)
• Commercial (PCO) Lawn and Ornamental
• Limited Commercial Landscape Maintenance (LCLM)
• Limited Lawn and Ornamental (LLO)

To receive CEU credit, you must attend the full duration of the class and participate. Attendance will be verified. For CEU credit, each person needs to attend using their own electronic device. If you have already taken a previous offering of this class (FDACS Program 38186)in the last year and been awarded the CEUs, you cannot retake it for additional CEU credit.
