Let's make Peruvian Chicken and Verde Sauce

In this workshop we invite you to come together to learn about Peruvian spices and how to make a Peruvian chicken dish with verde sauce.

In this class, Sam Spiva will discuss the different flavor profiles that go into this quintessential Peruvian dish and how to recreate this flavorful dinner at home.

We will demonstrate how to make the chicken and then you will make your very own verde sauce to take home with you and try your hand at making this chicken dish!

The cooking class will be led by Chef Sam Spiva. Sam is the owner of Spiva Cooking in Bremerton, WA. Spiva Cooking boasts a line of high quality, freshly ground spices and also provides cooking classes and culinary education. Prior to launching Spiva Cooking, Sam is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in New York and has been in the culinary industry for over a decade. During this time, Sam climbed the ranks from cook to chef in some of the top restaurants, hotels, and cruise lines in the US and abroad.
