Ah, spring! The most joyous of the seasons. A time of beauty, a time of growth, and most importantly, a time for the return of everyone’s favourite trumpet-based jazz group, the Perth Trumpet Summit!Matt Knight, James Chapman, Brendan Arbuckle and Dušan Cuculoski are back with a bang, presenting a night of the finest spring-related music they can lay their hands on. Expect dazzling arrangements of jazz standards, spine-tingling ballads, and more swing than a eucalypt in a September breeze! Joined by a powerfully grooving rhythm section (with Tommi Flamenco on bass, Bob Tweedie on piano and Ben Shelley on drums) this night promises to be as fresh as a daisy and as fierce as an angry magpie!
