Perth Social Society presents Pitch Ya Pal!

Rescheduled from 18th Feb to 8th March due to cancellations of presentations - to prevent this, we now ask you to pay a 20$ deposit for presenters/presentees to reserve your presentation spot that will be refunded when you take part. If you would like to present, please apply via our Google Form here. You can do presentations for each other, or if only one of you is single, that's absolutely fine you can still apply!

Pitch Ya Pal is a hilarious, fresh dating concept that provides great entertainment for everyone whether your single or taken!

Single? Get your mate to put together a five minute presentation on why they think the lucky ladies/gents of Perth should date you! Presenters and presentees both receive a FREE ticket including a drink just for having the balls to get up there, and we have prizes for the best presentations!

Taken? Come along anyway, have a laugh, make some friends - we'll make it clear that you're not interested by giving Red wristbands to anyone who is taken and Green wristbands to anyone who is open to meeting people!

Just wanna watch? That's absolutely fine! Coming along as a spectator is great fun, and you might see someone you like up there! Plus, in our normal Social Society fashion, it's just as much about making friends and socialising as it is helping people to pull hehe! We also have social mixer activities to help people meet each other between presentations, and after the presentations end the tunes will continue and we will be hosting karaoke! Street Eats is also holding a special 9pm-late "Happy Hour" just for us after the presentations end to keep the drinks and the laughs flowing all night!

Tickets include a free midi of beer or house wine on arrival. Must arrive before 8pm to get this inclusion, presentations will begin at 8.

STRUCTURE

7:30pm - Arrive to check in, get your wrist bands, mingle and meet people! You'll also get your own Pitch Ya Pal "bingo card". Everyone who completes a bingo card will be entered in our prize draw, which will be drawn after the presentations with our "Best Presentation" contest.

8pm - First round of presentations, we will have 2 guys and 2 girls in each round! Presentations will have the contact details of our lovely presentees at the end (and by contact details I mean their instas so you can slide into DMs x)

8:30-8:45pm - 15 minute drink/social break so you can mingle and work on those bingo cards!

8:45-9:15pm - Second round of 4 presentations, take notes of your favourites as we have a competition for best presentation hehe.

9:15pm-9:30pm - Drinks break!!! Go get a refill, nip to the loo, do what you need to, take advantage of "happy hour" running for our group 9pm till late when you show your wristband!

9:30-10:30pm - Final round of 4 presentations, if you haven't fallen in love yet, here's your chance! At the end of this one, we will cast our votes for Best Female Presentation and Best Male Presentation live - you'll be able to scan a QR code and join in and we can see the results come in live on screen!

Please remember that we are voting for best PRESENTATION - not who you fancy most! The prize is for the person who put the most effort into pitching their pal, the person that was the most entertaining host and did the best job. That person will get a bottle of prosecco, and a 50$ Social Society prize voucher, for both the male and female category.

10:30pm onwards - Enjoy happy hour drink prices, dancing and a bit of fun before we head out to the clurbbbb.

We will announce our bingo card winner as the night draws to a close. Not sure you'll stay all that time? No worries at all! We take contact details from the bingo card - so the winner will be contacted to claim their prize.
