Inferno 100
1911's Italian silent film masterpiece L'Inferno is now joined by some grimy, ugly metal music, reflecting Dante's journey through the bowels of Hell. The score and deranged visuals of Inferno 100 are like no other cinematic experience, unique and memorable. Demon Sin released each section of this score and film periodically from October 2024 to January 2026, and it is now available as a feature film. The film opens on a reversed closing credits scene, warning viewers of the upside down, discombobulating journey ahead. Do you have the stomach to enter Inferno 100?
About the artist: Perth based musician Benjamin Penfold-Marwick has been writing, playing and recording various styles of heavy metal music since the 1990s. He founded Rassilon Records in 2019 and has been releasing digital and physical music from various local extreme metal artists since then. He began Demon Sin, a solo, horror-based metal project, in 2020. In 2022, Demon Sin released Nosferatu 100, a metal score to the 1922 silent horror classic. Since then he has also released scores for Caligari 100 (2023), Quasimodo 100 (2024), and Faust 100 Part I of III (2026).
