Perspectives on the American Revolution

We know the familiar stories of the American Revolution, but what about the people whose experiences are often left out of the history books
About this Event

Join us for an engaging lecture exploring how the American Revolution affected diverse groups, including African Americans, Native Americans, immigrants, women, Catholics, Quakers, and Jewish Americans. As the colonies fought for independence, people from different backgrounds faced difficult choices about which side to support, with approximately one-third of the population remaining loyal to the British Crown.

Discover how these communities experienced the conflict, the challenges they faced, and the ways the Revolution shaped their lives and futures. This program offers a broader perspective on one of the most significant periods in American history.

Come gain a deeper understanding of the American Revolution through the stories and experiences of the people who lived it!
