About this Event

Build the confidence, awareness and practical skills to recognise, prevent and safely respond to escalating behaviours in the workplace and community.

This interactive, face-to-face training course provides participants with practical strategies to assess risk, maintain personal safety, communicate effectively under pressure, and de-escalate challenging situations before they become incidents.

Drawing on evidence-based conflict management principles and real-world operational experience, participants will learn how to recognise early warning signs of aggression, understand the factors that contribute to conflict, and apply proven de-escalation techniques to reduce risk and improve outcomes.

This training is suitable for frontline workers, community service providers, healthcare professionals, educators, customer-facing staff, leaders, supervisors, volunteers, and anyone who may encounter challenging or unpredictable behaviours in their role.
