Join Vertical World Record regional captain Wade Baird and fellow Space Cowboys for a VWR Phase 1 training camp. Phase 2 camps have started, so let's get ready!!
Experienced big way flyers:
Keep your skills sharp, and use this opportunity to focus on your weak spots! Practice slots you have less experience with and reinforce new theory with the spine and lines approach.
New big way flyers:
Feeling pretty good in small groups and ready for the next step? Have your eyes set on future record attempts or sequential events and don't know where to start? This is for you!
Focus on big way fundamentals:
- Diving / floating
- Processing sight pictures
- Referencing cross partners
- Maintaining appropriate head levels
- Flying different slots (spine / line / wacker / stinger)
- Executing safe break-offs
Event details:
- Aiming for a full plane, 20-ways
- 2 days / 10 jumps total, pay your own slots
- $150 registration
Minimum skill requirements:
- Must be able to exit the plane independently and maintain a controlled, Head Down orientation throughout the entire skydive.
- Must be able to safely approach a formation Head Down and maintain a consistent fall rate with the group.
- Must be able to safely break-off by turning 180 from the center of a group while Head Down and tracking away on a consistent radial.
