This is a intermediate class where you will be learning to use perler beads. Perler recommends this project for ages 6+ but I recommend 8+. This project will be approx. 6-8 cube space. There will be a pattern to follow but you are incharge of the colors you want your gingerbread church to be. You should be able to complete this project within the class time frame. If you do not, most of the supplies are yours to keep to finish at home :) I will show you the proper way to melt the beads. It is easy to melt the beads too much or not enough. For this project, it is imperative that the beads are not melted too much, otherwise you'll have to start over.
You will be making the 4 sides of the gingerbread church and 2 roof sides. I will have all the base plates, windowsills, trees, lampposts, and fences completed for you, so you have enough time to complete your church. I will also have extra roof pieces incase you do not want to make your own. Lastly, I will also have the church toppers done for you. But you will have the option of making your own to match your house :)

Please be aware that Crafty AF is an artistic space. We use a variety of materials such as paint, resin, glue and much more. Please wear clothing that you do not mind getting dirty. We do provide aprons and gloves here at Crafty AF.
Workshops are to be reserved at least 48 hours in advance. This gives our artists time to prep the materials needed for the class. If you need to cancel, please let us know ASAP. No refunds will be given to any cancellations within 72 hours of the class. Our artists work hard to prep the workshops. We will try to assemble a Take Home Kit, or possibly a credit to a future class.
