🌲Lower Frederick Park Board is excited to be kicking off a community walking group known as the "Perkiomen Pacers". 🌲The second official walk will take place December 8th, 2024 from 1:30m-2:30pm. (early arrival is suggested, so the tour can start at 1:30pm)
No registration required! Just show up and get your steps in!
🌲Our group will meet in the parking lot and begin the tour inside the mansion. We will see the mansions holiday decorations and learn more about Christmas in the early 1900s. After the tour is complete, the group can continue to walk the grounds, or depart with holiday spirit.
With a unique original collection, the mansion is fully furnished with antiques collected and documented by former Pennsylvania Governor Samuel W. Pennypacker reflecting his interests in early Pennsylvania history, German and Dutch settlers, Native Americans, the Revolutionary War and the Civil War.
We hope this walk provides you with an opportunity to learn the history of our area, all while getting your steps in!

-This walk is free to the public, but Pennypacker Mills recommends a $2 dollar donation per person.
