What if something as simple as a period didn’t stand in the way of a girl’s education?

One in three girls experiences period poverty, missing school and everyday activities because they don’t have access to basic supplies. Together, we can change that.

In recognition of Women’s Health Month and Period Poverty Awareness Week, join MWF's Power of 100 Women and Heart of West Michigan United Way’s Women United for an evening of purpose, connection, and hands-on impact. We’ll come together to pack hygiene kits for young girls across West Michigan —helping ensure they have what they need to show up, participate, and thrive.

This is meaningful work, but it’s also a chance to gather, connect, and be part of something bigger. Expect a welcoming, high-energy atmosphere with non-alcoholic refreshments and light nibbles as we roll up our sleeves and make a difference.

Supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring some to the event to add to our inventory. Or, purchase feminine hygiene items through our Amazon wish list.

Together, we can turn small essentials into confidence, dignity, and opportunity— for girls across West Michigan.
