Ola first gained national attention as a runner-up in the Canada-wide SiriusXM Top Comic Competition, appered on CBC’s The New Wave of Standup, then later solidifying his talent as a semifinalist on Canada’s Got Talent 2022. He has since performed at prestigious festivals, including Just For Laughs in Vancouver, Montreal, and Toronto, where he headlined his own show. Notably, he graced the stage at the Patton Oswalt Gala in Montreal, Skankfest Vegas and was featured in the 2024 Winnipeg Comedy Festival, one of Canada’s longest-running comedy festivals. Ola also released his first comedy special, Unlimited Dada, and his debut album, Dada Plan.Ola is known for his fun, light-hearted comedy and uses his life experience as material – being raised in Fort McMurray in a Nigerian home, living in Vancouver and the contrast in values and views on life, religion and relationships.
