Wolf of Ashes ir Buto solo performance par mīlestību kā pirmatnēju instinktu – spēku, kas vienlaikus alkst tuvības un ved pretī iznīcībai. Vilks nav tēls, bet klātbūtne. Tas klusi seko pa pēdām, medī, gaida un nekad nepamet ķermeni.
Dzīvās elektriskās ģitāras radītajā skaņu ainavā ķermenis kļūst par vietu, kur ilgas pārtop rētās, maigums – klusumā, bet pelni glabā atmiņu par liesmu. Gaisma un tumsa nesacenšas. Tās elpo vienā miesā.
Šī nav performane par mīlestību. Tā ir sastapšanās ar to, kas paliek pēc tās.

Ash remembers what fire could not consume.
Wolf of Ashes is a Butoh solo performance exploring love as a primal instinct—a force that longs for intimacy while leading toward ruin. The wolf is not a character but a presence. It follows in silence, hunts, waits, and never leaves the body.
Within a live electric guitar soundscape, the body becomes a landscape where longing turns into scars, tenderness dissolves into silence, and ashes preserve the memory of flame. Light and darkness do not oppose one another. They breathe within the same flesh.
This is not a performance about love. It is an encounter with what remains after it.
