📍 Oasis Nightclub | 298 11th St, San Francisco, CA

Hosted by Community Leaders and Icons:

  • Mirac L -- Mirac is a dedicated philanthropist, human rights activist, performance artist, and public servant whose career spans multiple state legislatures and agencies. A conversion therapy survivor, Mirac has championed LGBTQ+ rights for over 15 years, with a focus on immigrant justice, protecting LGBTQ+ youth, and strengthening civil protections. As a Global Shaper and SF's Impact Officer, he represented San Francisco at the Global Shapers Annual Summit, held at the World Economic Forum's headquarters in Switzerland. His leadership spans from serving as Vice-Chair of the LGBTQ Caucus and President of the Young Democrats of Georgia, to Political Action Director of the San Francisco Young Democrats, and Bay Area Regional Deputy Director of the California Young Democrats. Beyond politics, Mirac brings artistry and activism together, recently ending his year-long reign and forever holding the title of Mr. Golden Gate 2024–2025 with the Imperial Council of San Francisco. During the day, he works at the San Francisco Human Services Agency, helping San Franciscans access critical, lifesaving programs.
  • Sister Roma "The Most Photographed Nun in the World" — legendary drag activist, artist & philanthropist, Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. Sister Roma has been one of the most outspoken and globally recognized members of San Francisco's Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence for nearly four decades, dedicating more than half her life to community service, activism, and fundraising. She has helped raise over $1M for charity and created social movements, including Drag Up! Fight Back!, the #MyNameIs campaign, and Sisters Care: Safety First, Sexy Second, to name a few. She has served as the Grand Marshal of Pride in San Francisco, Prague, and Shanghai, and named SF Most Notable Drag Queen (2011), Bay Area Best Activist (2014), SFAF Cleve Jones Leadership Award (2019), and honored as a 2023 Pride Honoree by the California State Legislature LGBT Caucus.
  • Xochitl "Undocumented & Unafraid" -- drag artist, LGBTQ+ immigrant advocate and community leader.

🔥 What to Expect:
A powerful night where art meets activism:

  • Incredible performances by beloved queer artists
  • Speeches from fearless community leaders
  • Stories of resilience and triumph from LGBTQ immigrants
  • A socially charged cabaret that is fabulous, fierce, and deeply moving

🌟 Why It Matters:
The LGBT Asylum Project is the only San Francisco nonprofit organization exclusively dedicated to providing accessible legal representation for LGBT asylum seekers who are fleeing persecution due to their sexual orientation, gender identity and/or HIV status.

Donations enable the LGBT Asylum Project to cover the cost of direct legal representation for their clients, which averages $4,000 per client. Legal representation will cost a typical asylum seeker between $6,000 and $15,000 if paid privately, yet asylum applicants are not authorized to work in the United States. According to the 2025 State of Immigration Report, the disparity in asylum grant rates is stark: In 2024, 53% of represented asylum seekers were granted asylum. During the same period, only 19% of those without legal representation were granted asylum.

Every performance, every story, and every spotlight supports The LGBT Asylum Project (Center for Immigration Protection) — providing free, life-saving legal representation for LGBTQ immigrants and fighting for their freedom to remain in the US and live a life free from life-threatening persecution. Now more than ever, it is imperative that we support the work of organizations that are advocating for our LGBTQ+ immigrant community members.

🎭 Come for the show. Stay for the movement. Leave forever inspired.
