BUILDING RESILIENCE AT HOME.Organized by Fairbanksans in response to a growing need for local, community based food security. Learn about our local food landscape and help us figure out how we can make Fairbanks more food secure.
To help attendees gain an overview of the local food landscape, we have a fantastic panel of speakers lined up, who work in fields of outreach and assistance, local markets, farming, education, food waste & storage. The panel will also have Jodie Anderson (Director of Institute of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Extension) here with a statewide perspective.
There will be smaller breakout groups to participate in, after this main panel portion. We hope to foster education opportunities, volunteer signups, and community mutual aid conversations in these small groups. We are all in this together!
💛Organized by Concerned Residents of Interior Alaska (CROIA) & co-sponsored by UAF Office of Sustainability, UAf Resource Management Society, & Alaska Farmers Market Association
