People’s Stigma Free Network

Welcome to the People’s Stigma Free Network.

In this session we’ll explore where our ideas about mental health come from, and how culture, experience and community shape the way we understand and talk about mental wellbeing.

We’ll be joined by Sakoon Mind, a charity dedicated to improving mental health and wellbeing within the South Asian community. They will share insights from their work supporting culturally sensitive conversations around mental health.

Together we’ll create space to listen, reflect and connect, and consider how we can help build communities that support mental wellbeing.

No prior experience or expertise is needed. Just an openness to listen and share perspectives.

This session is open to anyone interested in supporting more stigma-free communities in Lanarkshire.
