As we fight for Justice for Indigenous people killed by police in so-called canada, we are continuously met with roadblocks and denials from the police, governments and courts. We know these institutions are colonial forces of occupation. They are not legitimate on stolen lands. How do we, as communities who oppose colonization and state violence, create space to make justice happen for us on our terms?
Justice for Jared and friends are planning the beginning stages of a People’s Tribunal. This is an opportunity for people to come together and hold the police accountable for their colonial violence. To do this work, we need everyone to come on board and share thoughts, knowledge, teachings, skills and resources.
On this International Day Against Police Violence, join us in a facilitated discussion on what our People's Tribunal can look like.
Let’s dream of justice outside colonial systems together! Let’s make that dream come true together!
