People's Emergency Briefing
About this Event
People's Emergency Briefing
Join us for a special screening of The People’s Emergency Briefing as part of Feed the 5000 Norwich, taking place at The Forum, Norwich on Sunday 11 October 2026.
At 2pm, we will be hosting the screening in The Auditorium at The Forum, bringing people together to reflect on climate, sustainability, food waste and the practical action we can take within our communities.
The screening forms part of the wider Feed the 5000 event, where Lions Clubs International and local partners will be raising awareness of food waste by preparing and serving food made from ingredients that would otherwise have gone to waste. The day will also include a Sustainability Village, local and national organisations, Lions service projects, a demonstration kitchen with local chefs and practical ideas to help people reduce waste and make more sustainable choices.
The People’s Emergency Briefing supports the wider message of the day by encouraging discussion, awareness and action around the climate and ecological challenges we face. This is an opportunity to come together, learn more and consider the small and larger changes we can make as individuals, families, organisations and communities.
Whether you are already involved in sustainability work or simply want to understand more about the issues and what can be done locally, you are warmly invited to attend.
