People's Emergency Briefing
This new film from the National Emergency Briefing sets out the risks facing the nation - and the credible, positive responses available.
In November 2025, the National Emergency Briefing brought together leading experts to present the latest evidence on the climate and nature crisis to politicians and other influential people in Westminster. Now it's time for our local communities to hear the evidence, and have a say in how our Government responds.
The screening will be followed by a panel discussion including Green Cllr Rob Yates, and other speakers TBC. There will be a vegetarian pot luck dinner served (please let us know if you'd be able to bring a dish!)
The £5 ticket cost goes towards the venue hire fee.
This is hosted by Margate Commons - a brand new collective seeking to build local community and climate resilience in a drastically changing world.
