About this Event
People-Less Portraits: A Hands-On Art Workshop for Youth
What if you could create a portrait of someone—without drawing their face?
Join artist Kori Price for a gallery tour and People-Less Portraits, an engaging, hands-on art workshop inspired by her photography exhibition, 807. In this unique session, kids ages 7-12 will explore the power of memory, home, and identity through collage and mixed media.
Instead of drawing traditional portraits, young artists will use textures, colors, and objects to represent the people in their lives—family members, neighbors, or friends—expressing presence through absence. This creative and thoughtful activity encourages children to think beyond what they see and tell stories through personal memories and artistic choices.
No art experience is needed—just imagination!
🎟 This workshop is free, but space is limited—reserve your spot today!
For ages 7-12. Parent/guardian over the age of 18 must accompany participating youth for the event. Snacks will be included.
