Oyster Cultivation Workshop

Oyster mushrooms are easy to grow and delicious in all types of cuisine. In this hands-on workshop, we will learn all steps necessary for oyster mushroom cultivation, including heat pasteurization of a straw substrate, mixing grain spawn, assembling plastic grow bags, and creating the right environment for incubation, fruiting and harvesting. Oyster mushrooms can fruit in a variety of conditions, and might do well in a sunroom, basement, greenhouse, kitchen, or living room if given proper care.
