People & Pages: A new monthly book group
Second Friday of the Month 5:30-7:00pm
in Trinity's Library
Fiction has a way of inviting diverse responses and can bring people together around common themes even if life experiences or perspectives differ. Trinity is starting a new once-a-month book group open to all - church members and community neighbors alike.
We'll gather on the second Friday of each month from 5:30 to 7:00pm, starting with a shared meal at 5:30 and followed by discussion of the book. We plan to provide food and childcare, so please RSVP so we can plan for dietary needs and nursery staffing. Sign up online here https://bit.ly/tlcbookclub or at the sign up sheet in the narthex.
Our first meeting will take place on Friday, October 9th at Trinity Lutheran Church (1904 Winnebago St.) Our first book will be Parable of the Sower by Octavis E. Butler and we aim to discuss Chapter 1-9.
October 9 - Chapters 1-9
November 13 - Chapters 10-17
December 11 - Chapters 18-25
