Event Information:

Behind every successful career are moments of uncertainty, difficult decisions, setbacks, and opportunities that shape the journey. Designed especially for women at all stages of their engineering careers, this session offers an opportunity to learn, connect, and gain insights from a woman who has built a successful career in engineering and leadership.

Join the PEO York Chapter Diversity & Inclusion Committee’s Women in Engineering: Belonging & Beyond event, featuring Marcia Lim, P.Eng., Principal Environmental Engineer and Team Lead at WSP Canada and Past Chair - PEO York Chapter.

With more than 25 years of engineering and leadership experience, Marcia has led multidisciplinary teams, served as Chair, past-chair, and director roles with York Chapter for over ten years, and is passionate about mentoring and supporting the next generation of engineers.

During this interactive afternoon, Marcia will share:

• Her journey from engineer to respected leader
• Leadership lessons learned throughout her career
• The importance of mentorship, sponsorship, and community

Unlike a traditional presentation, this event offers an interactive Hot Seat discussion where attendees are encouraged to ask Marcia candid questions about career growth, leadership, networking, professional licensure, confidence, work-life integration, and her personal experiences.
