Penticton PUNKfest sees more than 25 BC punk bands, 2026 is the first of hopefully many of these events to come and works as a peek into the possibilities and sustainability of reoccuring events of this nature for our scene and our (volenteer) organizers.
This is a no-profit 'fest' in that no promoters or organizations take a cut - Every dime beyond nessisary costs (ie venue rental fees, Permitting, Sounds equiptment, exc) goes directly to the bands, many of which are new, upcomming, underground or 'lesser known' acts with a few stand out names you're sure to recognize 😉
With the higher number of bands and the somewhat
* limited capacity * venue we urge everyone to hit up the day time Market and/or those Merch Tables! Its one of the best ways to support these fuckers! Not only Monetarily but by wearing the shirts, the patches, stickin them stickers everywhere recommending them to your pals and making these bands known!
