Pentecost Picnic! (w/ Howling Cow Ice Cream)

Looking for a welcoming community and a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon with your family? You are warmly invited to join Christ the King in Cary for our special Pentecost Outdoor Worship & Picnic!

Pentecost is a joyous day in the Christian faith where we celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit. To mark this special occasion, we are taking our 11:00 AM worship service outdoors—and we would love for you to be our guest.

After a beautifully unifying outdoor service, stick around for a fantastic community picnic. We’ve got lunch covered with delicious food prepared by our very own Chef Chris, followed by locally famous Howling Cow ice cream for dessert!

Fun for the Whole Family! While the adults enjoy the food and fellowship, the kids can burn off some energy on the inflatables we’ll have set up in the lower parking lot.

What to Bring:

• A seat: Please bring a comfortable lawn chair or a picnic blanket for you and your family to sit on during the service and lunch.
• A splash of red: It is a fun tradition to wear red on Pentecost to symbolize the Holy Spirit. Feel free to join in and wear something red, but come exactly as you are!
