A call goes out to all Shieldmaidens, Freya followers, and all women willing to do battle over cabbage! Join us on the Battlefield at the Great Pennsic War.
Black Talon and Black Priory (Aethelmearc) shared the glory of last year's championship and will be prepared to defend their titles this year. Does your Kingdom or Household dare to take on these giants of the cabbage field?
Helga Ball is a **ladies-only** sport based on a Viking game. The game, also known as "Cabbage Ball", is played with teams of 5 or 6 players. The game itself is played with a head of cabbage as the ball.
We will be on the western side of the Battlefield, closest to heavy inspection point.
There will be a Drag Game at Half Time to test if men have the courage to take on this fete! If you have men that are able, encourage them to dress up and prepare for battle at half time.
This event at Pennsic will be a benefit for Paladin's Pantry. All teams are expected to donate women's hygiene and personal hygiene products. We will be accepting donations of paper and hygiene products for poor and food-insecure families in the Portersville area (the town where Pennsic takes place).
**Age 18+ (16+ if a parent is Physically Present.)**
The Organizers for the Tournament are Baroness Constance Gly Dwr, Maighstir Liam MacantSaoir, and Clan Crann Bethadh.
