Join our most fearless hospice supporters and take the plunge in our cold water swimming challenge on Sunday, 30 March 🐧It has been found that cold water can build mental resilience, raise your mood, boost your energy, strengthen your immune system and reduce anxiety and has therefore become a popular trend.
Included in your registration is a handmade woolly hat which must be worn whilst in the water and will be given to you before your swim. Tow floats must also be worn in the water, these can be borrowed from the Lenches Lakes but are limited.
You’ll receive a full safety briefing from the Lenches Lakes staff on what to expect as you enter the cold water. On completion you will be treated to a hot drink and brunch bap – you’ll be feeling peckish after your plunge!
