A morning walk up the iconic Pendle Hill. This is a great route with spectacular scenery, taking less trodden paths. The paths are well trod, but the climb is a beast and can be pretty tough in places!A 5.5-mile / 9km route of approx. 1,350ft / 410m ascent. Expected to take 3.5 hours (easy-moderate pace).
We will be taking our time, climbing Pendle Hill from the quaint village of Barley, passing through farmland on Barley Hill. The views are incredible, especially when you've earned them.
Please feel free to join me at The Cabin Cafe for a drink at the end of our walk (they do fabulous hot chocolate and coffee).
Well behaved, friendly (with other dogs and people), agile dogs are welcome (max. 2 per person). Children 7+ welcome.
This small-group guided walk is professionally led by Abi, a qualified Mountain Leader and Outdoor First Aider / Mental Health First Aider, with full PL insurance. Booking is essential, places are limited and cost £10 per person.
