Pendemonium returns to the Queen B Vinyl Café for its monthly reading series! This month’s special guests will be Joshua Wiss, the winner of our December poetry slam, and Tempest Black, who also competed in the slam. You don’t want to miss these electrifying performers!Doors at 6 pm; first poet speaks at 6:30. $5 cover. This is an all ages show, but be aware that there is adult language and subject matter.
Get to the Café early for a bite to eat, a coffee or some Arizona wine!

About our special guests:
Joshua Wiss (they/them) is a spoken word poet and teaching artist who currently resides in Flagstaff, Arizona. They have been performing poetry since 2010 and have represented Arizona at 5 National Poetry Slams, 2 Individual World Poetry Slams and numerous regional poetry events throughout the years. Joshua has been described as both a fae creature and a vampire. Their work often navigates subjects such as mental health awareness and personal identity with a flair of optimism. Joshua’s latest collection of poetry, A Comprehensive Guide to Cuffing for the End Times is available through their website www.joshuawiss.com.
Tempest Black (they/them) is a Flagstaff-based, award-winning poet and co-host of the Flagstaff Poetry Slam, which has been running for nearly 20 years. They have been performing spoken word poetry for 11 years and have represented Flagstaff for multiple national and regional competitions, including Women of the World Poetry Slam, National Poetry Slam, Blackberry Peach, Bigfoot Poetry Festival, and Chicharra Poetry Festival.
