Hostiin (Erik) Bitsui, a Navajo from Blue Gap, Arizona, has an MFA from the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics from Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado. Bitsui is the author of Gutter Punk: A Micro Memoir (rinky dink press), and Mosh Pit Etiquette Volume One: Secrets of a 21st Century Navajo Headbanger (Tolsun Books). He lives with his wife and two daughters in Flafstaff, where is is a DJ for a weekly heavy metal radio show on KSZN 101.5 FM.
