Want to make some new friends? Join our Pen Pal Program! Make a new friend from Shreveport, LA! The library is launching a pen pal program for elementary through high school students who want to reach out. Participants will be matched with Shreveport, LA students close to their age. Letters will be dropped off and picked up at the library so personal addresses will not be required. Registration required. Registration must be done in person at the library. Parent signature required for minors to participate. At registration, participants will fill out a questionnaire to pair them with a student at the Broadmoor Resource Center of the Shreveport Library. After receiving their first letter, students will have 7-10 days to reply. All supplies are provided by the library.
