The celebration is a time to bring together the artists & writers who participated in the Pen & Paint program. But the celebration is open to everyone! Throughout the entire process, the writers and artists remain anonymous to each other until the end of the year when the Cultural Arts Centre hosts this very special reception for this unique collaboration. As a bonus, Saturday Writers publishes an annual anthology, a compilation of all the winning short story and poetry contests entries from the year. Included in this publication is the artwork associated with Pen & Paint. Saturday Writers Group will have anthologies available for purchase on November 13.
