PELLA: The Damn Rules: Liberate Leaders from the Trustbroken Economy
About this Event
You can feel it. I can feel it. There’s something terribly broken about our economy and the way we’ve been told to build businesses. A virtual death spiral of trust and confidence that somehow more algorithms and artificiality are supposed to solve?
Think again. And join us on November 16 for an event unlike anything you’ve been to before.
Meet Nick, Central College ('01) alumnus, global transformational leadership advisor and author of The Damn Rules: How Vulnerability, Inefficiency, and Love Liberate Leaders from the Trustbroken Economy + see the game that’s being played and how to play a different one entirely.
Think university lecture meets dinner-party debate meets therapist couch, where you start to see how the psycho-social decay (loneliness, anxiety, overwhelm, and distrust) is not just nagging feelings but the fundamental problems that are keeping entrepreneurs and good businesses stuck.
There is another way.
Join us for a lively exploration of trust, markets, monopolies, human behavior, and the strange ways they collide.
Nick has a knack for challenging the business advice we’ve all absorbed. He asks better questions about how people actually make decisions, build relationships, and grow businesses worth believing in.
Expect big ideas, thoughtful conversation, plenty of questions, and some friendly disagreement. Come curious!
The evening includes:
- Author’s Reading and Challenge to the audience
