PEDRI Forum 2026

Join us for a one-day event focused on building a culture of meaningful public involvement and engagement (PIE) in data research and statistics. The PEDRI Forum 2026 will bring together researchers, analysts, engagement practitioners, policymakers and public contributors.

This event will spotlight inclusive and impactful approaches to engaging the public with data research, aligned with our Good Practice Standards. Through talks, workshops and interactive sessions, we’ll explore what good PIE practice looks like and create space for sharing experiences across the sector.

We are inviting proposals for talks, posters and workshops that highlight good practice in public engagement with data research and statistics.

The themes for abstracts are:

• Public engagement across the data research lifecycle
• Data. statistics and AI literacy for meaningful public involvement
• Inclusion of underserved and underrepresented communities in data research
• Public engagement with data linkage and data governance.

Bursaries

PEDRI is offering a limited number of bursaries to support attendance at the PEDRI Forum 2026. These are intended to help cover the ticket fees, travel and/or accommodation costs for public contributors and early career researchers (ECRs) who may not otherwise be able to attend.
