About this Event

Join the Public Engagement in Data Research Initiative (PEDRI) for a one-day event focused on building a culture of meaningful public involvement and engagement (PIE) in data research and statistics. The PEDRI Forum 2026 will bring together researchers, analysts, engagement practitioners, policymakers and public contributors.

This event will spotlight inclusive and impactful approaches to engaging the public with data research, aligned with our Good Practice Standards. Through talks, workshops and interactive sessions, we’ll explore what good PIE practice looks like and create space for sharing experiences across the sector.

Information on registration

Registration includes lunch and refreshments throughout the day.

PEDRI is hosted by Health Data Research UK (HDR UK) which is a registered charity, and we will not make a profit on this event. Registration fees help us to cover costs associated with the event.


Bursaries

We are offering a limited number of bursaries to support attendance at the PEDRI Forum 2026. These are intended to help cover the ticket fees, travel and/or accommodation costs for public contributors, students and early career researchers (ECRs) who may not otherwise be able to attend.
